User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20061221 Netscape/7.2 (ax) Firefox/1.5 SeaMonkey/1.5a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20061221 SeaMonkey/1.5a In the Bookmarks Manager, if I select the top-level bookmarks folder (the one named "Bookmarks for [profile name]) and attempt to change its name or add a description, the next time I start SeaMonkey, the changes are gone. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Bookmark Manager. 2.Click on top-level folder (Bookmarks for [profile name]). 3.Click on Properties... button. 4.Change the name and/or add a description. Click OK button. 5.Close Bookmark Manager and close SeaMonkey. 6.Restart SeaMonkey and open Bookmarks Manager. Actual Results: The changes made to the folder properties are gone. Expected Results: The changes made to the folder properties should remain after SeaMonkey is closed and restarted. Preferably you should be able to make changes to the bookmarks' top-level folder's properties. If that is not possible for technical reasons, then the Properties button (and also on the context menu) should be greyed out.
[Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042901 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre] (nightly) (W2Ksp4) Confirmed: new default name is simply "Bookmarks", [Maybe that's a regression too ?] but bug is otherwise still valid.
