User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
When an animated GIF is present and in view on a page with a textbox, the caret flickers madly in the textbox, or even appears as though it is being displayed constantly (it blinks out of view only for an instant). When the page is scrolled so the GIF is out of view, the caret returns to its normal flickering pace.
Reproducible: Always
Testcase. Focus textarea, observe behavior, then Click Here and try again.
Seems to have regressed; see bug 54153 (not sure if this should be marked dup or not, just turned that up in a search).
