RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 229522

People

(Reporter: caterwomtious, Assigned: mscott)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1
Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.9 (20061207)

I created a new folder directly under an RSS account named "RSS". The folder was called ".NET" (without quotes). It was created, but doesn't appear on the list wither on the left of the Thunderbird window or in the Manage Subscriptions view.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click RSS account in folder list
2. Select "New folder"
3. Type ".NET" and press Enter
Actual Results:
I tried to create it again and it says it already exists, so creation succeeded but display is failing. I can't see it to delete it, so I can't re-test. I created one called ".TEST" though, and that displayed correctly.

Expected Results:
A folder visible in the folder list.
Yeah, it's the dot at the start of the name...
