364856 - A preference choice relating to tabs is missing from v2.0.0.1

In Firefox version 1.5.0.9 (and all older versions of Firefox, Mozilla and Netscape) there were 3 choices for tabs.

Open links from other applications in:
1) a new window
2) a new tab
3) the most recent tab/window

In Firefox 2.0.0.4 choice #3 is missing.

Unfortunately, for me, this is the most useful choice.  I get 100 e-mails a day with multiple links.  Each link relates to a page that I need to review for about 30 seconds.  Once I've reviewed the page, I don't need to look at it again.  So if the pages overlay the previous page in the current topmost window, it works great.

Under 2.0.0.1, I either have to remember to close the window when I'm finished viewing or as happened, I end up with 50 open windows.

Why would you remove a legitimate choice.  Add choices, sure, but never remove any.

I'm going back to Firefox 1.5.0.9, let me know when this is fixed.

2.Take a look

Actual Results:  
I see 2 choices is v2.0.0.1

Expected Results:  
I should see 3 choices.

The ui for it has been removed because the setting caused problems so people
would not be encouraged to use it but the preference can still be used - in
about:config set browser.link.open_newwindow to 1

The solution to the problem mentioned should be through education or documentation NOT by removing legitimate features/choices.

The same thing happened between Netscape Mail v3.x and v4.x and we NEVER got the old configuration back.
