After downloading 16384 images, by right-clicking and doing "save as..." downloads stop getting added to the download manager, and behave as if they are downloading, but nothing happens. When you do the save-as, you get the file requester, but nothing happens after you go beyond that point. I have the Bazzacuda Image saver -- it DOES save the files, just mozilla won't by itself...If you exit and relaunch, no change. If you reinstall, no change. Also, if you open the download manager while this is happening, the download manager window stays blank.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click on an image.
2. Select Save As...
3. Click Save.
4. Repeat the process 16384 times.

Actual Results:
It will save the first 16384 files, then act like it's saving beyond that, but nothing happens.

Expected Results:
You end up with 16384 files.

Saved as many files as you saved. As files are downloaded, they are added to the download manager.
Maybe you should clean up the download manager from time to time.
That is a brilliant idea. You're forcing an overflow by not cleaning it out.

The download manager is empty -- surely you a-holes have something better to do, such as learning to read (((the download manager window stays blank) than give unhelpful responses to serious users...

You're hardly motivating us to help you with language like that. We're all serious users; do you think this is a game? The download manager is not meant to have tens of thousands of listings in it.

Exit Firefox completely, delete downloads.rdf in your profile folder and try again.
yey for overflow. Fixed by Bug 380250 for Firefox 3

Flags: blocking1.8.1.5?
The fix on trunk cannot land on branch. The workaround is to exit firefox, delete downloads.rdf and try again.
