365088 - (Voters) is a strange way to let me see other people who voted for a bug

This is what I see:

                [ ] 282368  Internet Explorer looses data when clicking the "Back" button (Voters)  
             1 vote used out of 20 allowed. 

I just find "(Voters)" awkward

Confirming. I'd rather see the old "Show Votes" or this message changed to "Show voters" myself.

Agreed with timeless that "Show Votes" is better for consistency with the title of the page that is linked, and also consistency with past versions of the text.

If we keep the "Show Voters" link, the title of the linked page should be changed as well for consistency.

For consistency's sake with the linked page's title, I could consider this 3.0-worthy.

Let's expanding them from their abbreviated meaning into a sentence...

"Show Votes" should come from the sentence "Show me my votes."

"Voters" should come from the sentence "Tell me who the other voters are for this bug."

If you insist on a change.. (donno why)  wouldn't it be better to have "Show other voters"  or "Show Voters" ?

Huh?  mkanat how can you approve this for 3.0 without at least addressing this?  Are there IRC dialogs that are happening about this bug?  It's an unnecessary text change that will probably add confusion rather than take it away.  And since that's what this bug is trying to do, it should be discussed before changing it.

Oh well, close the bug and press on!

Paul: it's fairly hard for me to get reviews. I'll file a followup and see about further improvements. Localizers only care about localizing after release so it's OK if there are interim changes that are iteratively better. But it's best to have some improvement instead of stalling and never improving
