all my bookmarks were blanked
i didnt get them back 
so im asking that a backup of bookmarks is being put into firefox at a different location should this happen again

Please retest after deleting the file localstore.rdf in your profile.
If it doesn't help start Firefox in its safe-mode to rule out extension/theme problems.
