First, I have the saved the Complete Page and the bug is repeatable.  Please send me your e-mail address and I will send you the complete page file(s).

Second, when I simply print the web page it prints perfectly on 2 pages.  If I select page 1 of 2 or page 2 of 2, it prints perfectly.

When I attempt to print just the selected text and the bar code, starting with highlighting the scissors,  and ending the highlighting by highlighting the bar code, the print error occurs.

The Printer Control panel shows 77673 pages total, with 186 MB for the print file size for the NEC 870 printer.

And 74566 pages for the ScanSoft PDF 3 "printer"  (I have this PDF file - it is 50 MB in size!)


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the file I will send you (from the web page that causes the problem)
2. Highlight the scissors through the bar code
3. Choose Print Selection
4. Click OK.
Actual Results:  
Prints lots of blank pages which I stopped after the third blank page.

Or for the PDF file, 74566 pages with the bar code, etc. on the last page.



Expected Results:  
It should have printed only the scissors through the bar code, i.e. the selected text.

I have the Complete Web Page and can send it to you.

I'm running XP SP2 on a Dell XPS 400 with 1.5 GB real memory.

Printer is an NEC Superscript 870 with driver: Minolta PageWorks 8L.

I also tried it printing to the ScanSoft PDF Creator 3, and it printed 74566 pages.  I can send you this PDF file as well.  The Bar code image prints on the very last page.

So apparently, what is going on here is printer independent.

Please let me know if you need other information.

I've confirmed this issue as well.
