Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.0.9) Gecko/20061206 Firefox/1.5.0.9 Build Identifier: firefox 1.5.0.9 the scroll bar on the right hand side of the window has a line of dead pixels down the right hand edge of the screen. This means that quite frequently an attempt is made to pull the bar down using the mouse pointer, and this line of dead pixels is where the mouse pointer is because the mouse reaches the edge of the screen and stops (even if its poistion on the mouse mat suggests the pointer is off the edge of the screen - this is of course not possible, but mousemats do not apply this constraint). please look at Fitts Law (1954) for more information, or any human computer interaction textbook please widen the scroll bar towards the very edge of the screen Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
