Filing it so I don't forget it.

It would be nice if one could import passwords saved in Firefox into Camino's keychain. It's a mess to migrate without all saved passwords.

I don't know if this is technically possible, but if it is, I think it would be useful.

Even if it's possible, it would presumably require linking in most/all of satchel...

If we leave wallet for satchel at some point (wallet's future in the tree is uncertain AIUI, even though we, SeaMonkey and Tb use it), that wouldn't be a problem.

I'd like to see us do this too, at some point; this was one of the biggies when I was writing the Switchers guide.

(Of coure, if bug 106400 to make Fx use the Keychain ever lands, this would be moot, too.)

Sorry, I agree but I'm going to have to mark it as a dupe because passwords are part of a profile (no matter where they're stored, as part of the OS keychain or as a keyfile), and Fx will have to 'assume' they can be pulled out of the keychain (and I know they can, 1passwd pulled them out of Camino's parts of the keychain just fine).

This bug has been buried in the graveyard and has not been updated in over 5 years. It is probably safe to assume that it will never be fixed, so resolving as WONTFIX.
