not able to automatically play aol videos on firefox version 2.0.0.1 and previous
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. http://video.aol.com/
2. click on selected video
3. Click here [javascript:installAxControl();link] to install.
Actual Results:
message drop down:
'Firefox prevented this site (us.video.aol.com) from asking you to install software on your computer - [Edit Options...]'
action: (i click Edit Options...)
[Allowed Sites - Add-ons Installations windows comes up]
action:- (address of website us.video.aol.com) - allow - close
Issue persists.
Expected Results:
1. Mozilla ActiveX plugin should install
2. aol video player should launch and play selected video
work around:
click on tools-options-security tab(defaults)- uncheck 'Warn me when sites try
to install add-ons' - ok - close browser and reattempt.
reattempt is successful.
