Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.visit a page from a list of pages (click on a link) 2.close the browser 3.view the link again - it's still red, even if remember pages option is not selected. Actual Results: links are still red. i cannot get it to NOT remember links/pages visited. Expected Results: links should be blue after the number of days selected or blue always if the option is not selected. the software should have followed the choice made in options/history for remember pages for __ days.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 I can't reproduce this with the build you're using. When I set history to 0 days and I restart, the sidebar is empty. When I do a lot of searches with google however, visit a lot of search results, restart and come back to the google pages, some of those links will be marked as visited. For an explanation why, see Bug 330332 comment 4 and 5. A way to solve this is to use the Clear Private Data tool on exit. (Tools > Options > Privacy > Private Data.)
I have a web page on my desktop of links. I want to visit the sites periodically, which is why I changed the # of days to remember. Now that I've set memory/history off, new sites I visit are not turned red when I go back and view the page I clicked from. But the links in the web page on my desktop remain red. Also I am on version 2.0.0.1 and I cannot find any option to clear the history.
