Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1

Strange one:

I have a Windows XP laptop with the latest Firefox installed. I have extensions Torbutton, Performancing, WebDeveloper, Skype Extension, Sage, DOM Inspector, forecastfox and talkback installed. I use it under my own XP user account (and admin account) and my wife uses her own profile under her XP account. We have the same extensions installed.

My wife logs into the yahoo web mail (yahoo.rogers.com) and tries to compose a message with the rich AJAX editor. She gets a javascript error indicating a parenthesis is missing. Error console states:

Error: missing ) in parenthetical
Source File: http://us.js2.yimg.com/us.js.yimg.com/lib/pim/r/medici/15_6/mail/rteeditorlib.js
Line: 871, Column: 188
Source Code:
)+oButton.offsetHeight)+"px";oMenu.Iframe.style.display="block";oMenu.Iframe.style.left=(ylib_getPageX(oButton)+1)+"px";oMenu.Iframe.style.top=(ylib_getPageY(oButton)+oButton.offsetHeight+5

The rich editor does not show and the page does not render.

Yahoo javascript error? Nope.

However, I can login to our yahoo web mail (yahoo.rogers.com) and compose no problem. I log in to the same server, with the same credentials. under my profile, the page renders without a problem and with no javascript error.

So what would cause a javascript rendering difference between 2 different profiles on the same computer?

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.I can reproduce this every time on my computer, but I don't know if it can be reproduced outside of the envirnonment.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
Rendered the Javascript without error regardless of user profile or XP account...

Noia 3.37 and the latest plugins mentioned above, instlled in both profiles...
More information:

This seems to be another symptom of the javascripts in the cache not being cleared and being corrupted, as reported in 355567

clearing the browser cache under my wife's profile fixed the issue
