As discussed on http://groups.google.es/group/mozilla.support.bugzilla/browse_thread/thread/f4dca1cd9cacdfeb/622928e831102537?lnk=gst&q=many+distributions&rnum=1#msg_d9d882dfb397eb05 it would be interesting to have a build service for Bugzilla, so as to create RPM and DEB packages for Debian, Fedora, Mandriva, Ubuntu, OpenSuse, etc. Here we could track the progress of this setup and link to the bugs on Bugzilla that affect the correct multi-deployment, as noted by David Miller.

Summary: Release of distribution specific packages via OpenSUSE BuildService → Release of distribution specific packages via OpenSUSE BuildService (OBS)
Changing summary, as OBS now stands for a different name.

This is an interesting idea, but I don't think we'll ever get to it. If a distro wants to package Bugzilla, we'd be happy to support, but maintaining this would be difficult for us.
