User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-AR; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.9 (20061207) I have a lot of feeds and sub-folders in the News and Blogs folder, but suddenly feeds stopped updating, automatically or manually. Now I can't update any feeds, but I can download e-mail. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1
Anything in the error console?
I can confirm this on linux as well with Thunderbird 2. I thought it was a bad profile, and deleted then manually entered the feeds again however the problem as reoccurred. There is nothing in the error console in today's build to show the problem. Confirming and nominating as a blocker as this is making Thunderbird unusable as a feed reader.

Ok, reality has intruded in that suddenly after multiple attempts to get new items, my feeds have started updating including items from yesterday.
I was seeing this precise bug as well. Moving my "feeditems.rdf" file out of the way seems to have repaired it (though of course all my feeds have been reset).
Not sure if this is the same problem: my feed subscriptions seem to disappear /partly/, i.e. in the subscriptions dialog they are not shown, but if I try to re-subscribe, I get the message that there is already an subscription.
The subscriptions seem to be ok in the feeds.rdf: However, the dest. folder seems to be correct in my case, e.g.: <fz:feed RDF:about="http://www.rememberthemilk.com/atom/..../" fz:quickMode="true" dc:identifier="http://www.rememberthemilk.com/atom/...." dc:title="Peter Aufgaben" NS1:link="http://www.rememberthemilk.com/home/ptandler/1649569/"> <fz:destFolder RDF:resource="mailbox://nobody@News%20%26%20Blogs/Remember%20The%20Milk"/> </fz:feed> But the subscriptions dialog doesn't show the feed, only lists the empty folder. Related: #340913?
This sounds like once again this is similar to what I was encountering, and could be a dupe of bug 388919.

This bug was originally reported against 1.5.0.x, has anyone seen this on 2.x or latest trunk?

I haven't seen this on Thunderbird 3 for either Mac or Linux in some time.
Neither have I - it seems to have been resolved on my Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 release.
Based on the comments, closing as WFM.
