Since we've tagged 1.9a2 / Gran Paradiso Alpha 2, we should bump the trunk version number to be pre-alpha3. This should look a lot like the patch in bug 362418: attachment 249016 [details] [diff] [review].
morgamic: does the AUS regexp stuff mean we're ok on the AUS side this time?

I think the tools/ changes should probably get checked in after the builds cycle from the first set of changes.

It's all landed now except for the tools/tinderbox-configs/monitoring parts.

my build id still says "1.9a2pre"
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a2pre) Gecko/20070206 Minefield/3.0a3pre ID:2007020623 [cairo]

Should be okay with the version change, given:
'3.0a*' => 'trunk'
3.0a* means anything matching that regex will point to the trunk branch for nightly updates.

Please don't complain about stuff like this in Windows hourlies. The Windows build system doesn't handle dependencies right.

I checked in the Nagios monitoring part of the patch.

Thanks. I was waiting until morning so that the new nightlies would actually have been generated.
