Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Place shortcut in startup location 2. 3. Expected Results: Two instances of program run. Only run one instance.
Are you running the MinimizeToTray extension?

I disabled the enhancement, but didn't want to disable the MTT extension because I like it so much. But after being embarrassed by your question, I disabled the MTT extension, and sure enough, problem solved. Do you think it is just one of the options of the extension, or maybe something more? I don't know if it's an extension bug or extension interface bug.
It is an problem with the extension, see Bug 369596 Comment #1.
