The Firefox 3 requirements contain a p2 item covering sanitizing content sinks. This will be useful for extension authors that need access to HTML content, and can keep them safe by default by disabling risky content like object and script tags. The feed parser already contains a fragment parsing version of this capability. It needs to be extended to full HTML documents, and we need to refactor other existing sanitizing sinks to use the same infrastructure.
