(In reply to comment #0) > User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; > rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041217 > Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; > rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041217 If you're really using Mozilla 1.7.5, you're vulnerable to a *huge* number of known security holes (the latest version from that branch is, I believe, is Mozilla 1.7.13, and that branch isn't even maintained any more). Can you check that this bug exists in a newer version of SeaMonkey (e.g. 1.0.7 or 1.1)?
Are you requesting a feature that it works for drop-down form inputs that don't have scrollbars?

I guess what Vishnu means is that scrolling with the mousewheel doesn't work on many form elements as it's supposed to. E.g. when an autocomplete drop down list opens (address list, search bar, form elements etc.) it's not possible to use the mousewheel in order to scroll further up or down. It's aswell one of the features i really DO miss. But so far I wasn't able to find a bug report for it.

SM 1.1 has been discontinued. stefanh, does scrolling dropdowns (SELECTs) work for you on Mac with SM 2.0.x? It's WFM for me on WinXP. Please change bug status accordingly. Thanks.

Karsten, can you please check this Mac issue? Stefan said he can't (no mouse).

It seems like the reporter is not reading all this anymore, but reading comment 0 again, this could be read as a request to scroll the selection (highlight/hover) rather than the list. So either this is about scrolling the list (which Karsten could check on Mac), or an RFE (which we could decide to take or not).
Tested on x86 OSX and behaves the same as under Windows 7 -> WFM
