(Keywords: rtl)
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; he-IL; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; he-IL; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2
Pinstripe (Mac Theme) is completely broken in Firefox 2. The Forward/Back buttons are reversed, the arcs on the tabs reverse, and the search bar is so messed up I don't even know how to describe it. It seems that basically no effort was put into making a RTL environment work
This is not a duplicate if 221824. That bug was a general "let's make themes RTL compatible". This is about pinstripe being broken. Gnomestripe and (I gather) winstripe are fine. Moreover, the Ubuntu Human theme, for example, works fine on a RTL Mac build. If Ubuntu can do it, so can Mozilla. Also, why this provides an obvious workaround (and the one I'm using), it would be nice if browser worked "out of the box" with its default theme.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install a RTL build of Aqua Firefox (Hebrew, Arabic, Farsi, etc.)
2. Start firefox
3. Look at window. For added effect, hit Cmd-T to open a second tab.
Actual Results:
The back button is pointing the left instead of right, many other parts are backwards.
Expected Results:
Should be oriented correctly. Install Ubuntu Human if you don't know what that means.
