From a tinderbox build log:
ranlib libgklayout.a
ranlib: libgklayout.a: No space left on device
gmake[4]: *** [libgklayout.a] Error 1
On the update side there are lots of red boxes at
http://update-watch.localgho.st/nightly/production/latest/
dbaron first reported this to #build when he couldn't get a nightly update for Thunderbird 2.0pre, but any build in the last day or so (any branch) is also affected.

The free software build must have pushed it over the edge, although I thought I had freed enough space before hand.
I'll fix this now, but it will be nice when we can move the update generation onto its own box.

I've removed the build dir for the free software build. This *should* allow regular builds and updates to proceed. I will continue to monitor prometheus-vm just in case.

I guess there must be another issue as partial updates aren't being generated after the disk space fix.
When I look a little closer at the update status page there are builds from later on the 2nd of March which cannot be updated to - the win32 Fx build on the 1.8.0 branch (that finished at 2007/03/02 10:03), and the respins for Sunbird trunk (which finished 10:34 and 11:17 for win32 and mac).
Chris, did you disable the cron job that runs patcher while you were setting up the free software build ? I guess not if you let the normal tinderbox build carry on. Hopefully the patcher logs will reveal the problem; I can't see any obvious stray builds posting snippets to AUS.

No, I didn't disable the cron job. The last line of the AUS2 reports I've been getting leads me to believe that we're still: running out of space:
Moving to /builds/nightly-partial-generation/ftp/thunderbird/nightly/2007-03-02-03-mozilla1.8.0... get_patch_info: /builds/nightly-partial-generation/ftp/thunderbird/nightly/2007-03-02-03-mozilla1.8.0/thunderbird-1.5.0.10pre.en-US.linux-i686.partial.2007030203-2007030303.mar does not exist! at /builds/nightly-partial-generation/app/patch-packager.pl line 638.

The tools directory on prometheus-vm got blown away trying to make room for the free software builds. I'm compiling the tools now.

That seems to have done the trick. There are lots of partials about, and Update Watch is green apart from random red cells (some kind of intermittent webhead problem).

Hello, could we be at it again? The 3/11 builds are on ftp.mozilla.org but checkForUpdates can't find anything newer than the 3/9 builds.

Ditto comment #7 for me, "No new updates available" for the last two days.
