I can tab around and use the keyboard though. Firefox 1.5 does not have this problem, although things appear strange. Clicking in a field puts the text cursor there, but the cursor flickers many times per second as is fluttering. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. just visit the website. 2. 3. Actual Results: the page is dead to mouse clicks. Expected Results: clicked links should have been followed. clicked fields should have been enabled so as to see a cursor.
Works for me with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3pre) Gecko/20070302 BonEcho/2.0.0.3pre As soon as I hover over the my account arrow on the left side a page filling flash movie appears. When I close this flash all links work here.
The same for Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 Have you tried removing the cookie?
Deleting the domain cookie solves the problem temporarily. Second and subsequent visits do not display the flash control.
In subsequent visits the links keep working. Did you try -safe-mode, a new profile or a reinstall in a new empty folder?
This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here.
