Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a3pre) Gecko/20070314 SeaMonkey/1.5a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.9a3pre) Gecko/20070314 SeaMonkey/1.5a 1) The SeaMonkey drop down menu no longer includes the option to hide SeaMonkey. 2) When clicking on the SeaMonkey icon in the dock, if no hidden window already existed, a new window would be created. Both of these are standard Mac application behaviors. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Pull down the SeaMonkey menu. Note that "Services," "Hide SeaMonkey," "Hide Others," and "Show All" options are all missing. 2. With all SeaMonkey windows closed, click on the SeaMonkey icon in the Dock. Note the lack of response. 3. Expected Results: Menu items should include standard items. Dock icon should raise hidden windows, if hiding was possible, or open a new browser window. For extra credit, an RFE could be created to create a preference pane to pick behavior when the dock icon is clicked.

This is bug 355802 - always file one bug per issue, please ;-) > > 2) When clicking on the SeaMonkey icon in the dock, if no hidden window already > existed, a new window would be created. When bug 328887 is fixed this will work again. Iirc this stopped working when we switched to cocoa. Then the issue was resolved for toolkit apps (Firefox, Thunderbird et al). I'm going to dupe this bug against bug 355802. If you want, you can file a separate bug for the Dock-clicking issue and make that depend on bug 328887. It won't hurt to have a bug for that - it will remind us checking that the issue really has been resolved.
