Since I'm packaging the sv-SE mac version, I wanted to take a look at the polish one. For some reason I can't mount the disk image - it appears to be damaged. 1) Download seamonkey-1.1.1.pl-PL.mac.dmg from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/releases/1.1.1/contrib-localized/ 2) Double-click on the downloaded .dmg file --> The disk image refuses to mount on the desktop (A warning message appears complaining that the image is damaged) No problem with the German one, so I assume that something have gone wrong somewhere (packaging/uploading etc)
CC to my Mac contributor. I don't have a Mac and i have no access to a Mac to test this thing...
Works for me. I have downloaded and mounted image without any problem. So I can not confirm.
Hmm. Odd. Maybe it's because I'm on 10.3.9? How did you compress the disk image - did you use the pkg-dmg script?
Nope, a used, as usually, Disk Utility from Mac OS X.
Might be my system then, I guess. I'll see later on this week if I can find out what happens.
It works fine on 10.4.9, but it doesn't work on 10.3.9. I believe this is because the disk image is bzip2 compressed: ------------------------------------------------------------- hdiutil imageinfo seamonkey-1.1.1.pl-PL.mac.dmg | grep Format Format: UDBZ Format Description: UDIF skrivskyddad komprimerad (bzip2) ------------------------------------------------------------- (lots of Swedish - hope you understand :-) ) It appears that bzip2 compression isn't recognized on 10.3.9. Stefan, I have converted the image file and it can be downloaded from: http://idisk.mac.com/heidi17-Public If you confirm it is correct one, it should replace the previous one on Mozilla website.
(In reply to comment #7) > Stefan, I have converted the image file and it can be downloaded from: > http://idisk.mac.com/heidi17-Public > If you confirm it is correct one, it should replace the previous one on Mozilla > website. > I downloaded the new one and it mounts fine - no errors. I noticed that the compressed disk image is called "seamonkey_1.1.1b_pl-PL.dmg" and the mounted one is called "Seamonkey 1.1.1a pl-PL", so I assume this is a test version and not the final version for upload.
Reassigning to Piotr (just to keep the formal stuff in sync with reality).

Piotr, could you fix the a/b issue and put a new image online?
FYI, I've found the pkg-dmg script (http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/build/package/mac_osx/pkg-dmg) very easy to use. Once you've checked out the script, just run it with '--source "folder/location" --target "filename.dmg" --volname "SeaMonkey"', and it will produce a compressed disk image named "filename.dmg". There are also more options (for DS_store file and background-image etc).
(In reply to comment #12) > Fixed image at http://idisk.mac.com/heidi17-Public > seamonkey_1.1.1b_pl-PL.dmg 3/29/2007 7:34 PM 26 MB Looks like the old one.
OK, so it appears that it's only the title that's wrong. So, the file needs to be renamed before it's uploaded to m.o. Maybe KaiRo can do that (renaming/uploading).
(In reply to comment #14) > OK, so it appears that it's only the title that's wrong. Sorry, I ment the filename of the .dmg
Hey. I've seen now, that at ftp.moz.org there is still the old file. Is there a problem left or why this isn't fixed until now?
(In reply to comment #16) > Hey. I've seen now, that at ftp.moz.org there is still the old file. > Is there a problem left or why this isn't fixed until now? > I haven't got access to the server. Some one needs to be contacted, unless KaiRo can do it.
I can and should do it. I suck. Hope to get to it tomorrow - too tired to do it right now (3am).
Could you give me a direct link where I can download the fixed build via wget? If I try the link from comment #12 I only get the info that it doesn't like my browser, so I don't get to a download link.
Thanks, uploaded (may take mirrors a bit to catch up).
