This is probably a views bug. The only part the gdata provider plays is that it loads the data slower than other providers (like the storage provider) and may introduce some sort of race condition. I'm moving this bug to views.

Omar, please leave this open. IMO uncached calendars should work equally good.

I can confirm this bug using TB 3.0b2 and zhe latest nightly of Lightning. If I subscribe to a calDav calendar, all the events (also the ones in local calendars) blink. The part of the bug where the right day is not selected i cannot confirm.

The flashing may go away (or at least get better) when bug 500718 is fixed.
