Code freeze was yesterday. Therefore IMO this is not blocking 0.5.
Furthermore, even if we had the time, this would still not be considered a release blocker. Blockers are bugs, which are are so bad, that you would recall the release, if you had already released it.
*Major* losses of functionality (e.g. you cannot create events or tasks) or serious dataloss issues for a majority or at least a big minority of our users would warrant such a thing. Minor UI glitches certainly do not.

Yes, that's what release blockers are. But only after the first release candidate. Not at the stage we are in right now. For now, we can take this pretty simple issue and have a huge gain of a much nicer first look of the program. (first impression says a lot)

This only occurs in day and month view while hovering over an event box.
I don't really think it's all that bad and considering how little vertical space we have in event boxes already, I'm not sure bumping the titles down a bit is the best way to handle this.
This shouldn't block, but it someone wants to figure out how to address this quickly, I'd consider taking it. FWIW, Mickey has mentioned how painful it was to get the grippies in the correct location already. We still have 7 blockers outstanding, so I suspect our freeze dates are still a bit fluid.
