Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 WinXPSP2 fully patched... Since install of v2.0.0.2 (Firefox), the "Check for Updates" feature shows as -enabled- (in error) in an XP limited user acct. The updates will NOT complete without -full- administrator rights, hence the update will -hang- and the LUA account will need to be enabled/changed to and Admin account for the upddate to complete, even though it had been completed on another admin account (same system)... The "Check for Updates" feature had always been disabled/greyed out in the LUA accounts on the system prior to the install of v2.0.0.2 (I think...). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. May have been present in FF v2.0.0.2; "Check for Upates" appears to be -enabled- at times for XP LUA accounts, and if attempted, will fail, requiring a change to the LUA account to "admin" authority for the update to complete, even if the update was completed (subsequent to failure in the LUA account) in an admin acount. Actual Results: See notes in "Steps to Reproduce". The XP/LUA accounts should -always- have the "Check for Updates" option greyed-out (disabled) as it is in FF v1.5.0.10 and v1.5.0.11.
