In many web applications (esp. on Intranets) popup windows are often launched to select an item from a list...
As a developer, I make use of 100's of Bookmarklets to aid in testing/debugging, thus would like to access a bookmark or two, when viewing a popup, with minimal (if any) chrome features.
currently, attempts to view bookmarks are not possible via CTRL+B or CTRL+I (windows)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a popup window
2. Type CTRL+B or CTRL+I
3. Note that the bookmarks do not appear
Actual Results:
No Bookmarks appear (inline in the sidebar, or in their own window)
Expected Results:
bookmark sidebar or window should open (either is fine)

Sounds like it's the same as bug 302288.
@Brian, yes, I think they are related, but not necs. a dupe. 302288 is a bug about the menu not working for opening the sidebar for bookmarks and other items... this bug is more to do with the keyboard hooks for opening bookmarks. Internally they may call the same function, but if my menu isn't visible, if 302288 is fixed, I'm still suffering the effects of this bug.

I think I'd agree that this is a dupe of bug 302288. The bug may manifest itself differently, but the underlying cause is the same.
