User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 I set my browser to always remember tabs on closing and to open them when Firefox starts again. If there are pop-ups or multiple windows when I close the browser(s), it saves the page on the pop-up or second window (depending on the order that I close them) and I lose the tabs that I really want it to remember. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a pop-up or a second window. 2. Close main window with tabs first, then all the pop-ups and other windows. 3. Start browser again. Actual Results: The browser remembers the tabs in the last window closed, but not the others. Expected Results: If there is more than one window (particularly if there are pop-ups, ask me if I want to save tabs when I try to close any of the windows.
Component: Tabbed Browser → Session Restore
QA Contact: tabbed.browser → session.restore
(In reply to comment #0) > The browser remembers the tabs in the last window closed, but not the others. That's actually per design - except that we don't handle popups in an ideal way yet -> DUPE.
