When sending an HTML email to an LDAP contact, his preferred mail format is not used. Thunderbird still open the askSendFormat window, even if the LDAP contact is defined as HTML email format.
I checked, and this information is show in his card when searching in LDAP from ThunderBird.
Preferred mail format are only checked against local adress books.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Define an LDAP contact with HTML preferred mail format
2. Compose an HTML email and try to send it to him
3. The askSendFormat window pops up
Actual Results:
The askSendFormat window pops up
Expected Results:
Look up the preferred mail format in LDAP and don't ask if correct format is found

Confirming, this is partially due to the differences in ways of searching the address book between local and remote.
