The method getQueryResults defined in the interface nsILDAPSyncQuery doesn't handle binaries data type. For example, it isn't possible to ask for attribute "userCertificate;binary".

The Product field of this bug is wrong, Firefox (as your user-agent says) is not Mozilla Application Suite.

We're not actively working on LDAP autoconfig but patches are welcome. It looks like the code was written w/o binary attributes in mind, since it stores the results in strings, but I'm not an LDAP expert.
