Click to URL above 2. click "start javascript speed test" 3. allow popups so second test will run 4. watch browser crash Actual Results: Browser crashes on first or second pass through test # 2. Expected Results: Browser should complete all tests.

Doug, did you do chkbfs + clear Firefox cache before trying to reproduce this bug?

I tried the same test, with the same profile on the same system, using 2.0.0.3 and it works fine. There have been changes to nsTextControlFrame.cpp since 2.0.0.3, but I am not authorized to view the bug that drove those changes.
in the future, please specify bug numbers. otherwise people have to make bad guesses.

Sergei called it - problem was caused by a bad file system entry and/or corrupt cache. Very strange!
