1.When you type some words to search on some web page,and have checked the the highlight item,you will find the background color of searched text have recovered other text
2.You always don't know if the highlight item is checked or not

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Visit some website(eg. www.yahoo.com)
2.Check the highlight  item in the search bar
3.Type some word exited on the page
Actual Results:  
The background color of searched text recover other text

Expected Results:  
Only the searched text have background color

reporter, which Solaris are you using? Could you post a screenshot here? How about trying Firefox 2.0.0.3? You can get it here: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.3/contrib/.

Solaris: SNV
Firefox: 2.0.0.3
Gnome: 2.16.1 2.18
Theme: Nimbus
