I believe Sunbird calendar entries should be "data" that is NOT recovered by System Restore. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Make a new calendar event or many new events 2.Use XP System restore to restore your system to an earlier (in my case stable) date 3.Notice the new calendar entry/entries has been wiped out by the restore. I think this is non-desirable behavior. Loss of data so I flagged this as critical.
