With the landing of bug 374462, nye crashes during shutdown after the RLk test.  Stack is attached.

committing this as a bandaid; i'm pretty sure it's right in any case, but need to get the cairo folks to confirm.
Vlad, it looks like the bandaid got lost in the latest update...
Is it actually crashing?  There was a rework of the xlib screen code that should've avoided the need for the bandaid...
nye isn't crashing, but it's running FC6 instead of FC3 it was running before (and FC6 wasn't crashing before).  I can try booting it back to FC3 to check.  But FC3 has xorg 6.8.2, so it doesn't actually meet the official runtime requirements.
Don't bother -- I'm pretty sure that the new code fixes this crash.  (There are explicit checks for screen being not NULL etc.)   So let's just leave this be unless someone reports it.
