User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070408 SeaMonkey/1.5a
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a4pre) Gecko/20070408 SeaMonkey/1.5a
When I go to www.chevrolet.ca, the top half of the page does not display properly when compared to Firefox 1.5.0.10 or Firefox 2 on the same PC.
The part that does not display properly is Flash. Since the same version of Flash displays properly in firefox, I'm guessing the problem is with seamonkey.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to http://www.chevrolet.ca
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The top half of the page is blank.
Expected Results:
The top half of the page should display menus detailing the various products offered by Chevrolet.

worksforme with linux seamonkey 2007-04-08-08-trunk. Do you have the flash plugin installed in SeaMonkey?

I'm using the exact same flash plug-in (version 9) for both firefox and seamonkey that's installed in my ./mozilla/plugins directory.
Other Flash sites I visit display consistently between both seamonkey and firefox

Oh, OK. Thanks. This is busted on trunk and works on branch.
The behavior changed on trunk at least twice. The first change happened between seamonkey builds 2005-09-21-03 and 2005-09-22-05, so perhaps bug 344425. The behavior of the 9/22 build is that the plugin is replaced with what seems to be an iframe and the .swf file is displayed in it as binary text. The .swf file is served up as text/plain by the server (so perhaps the new behavior is OK?).
I'll attach a testcase.

My 9/21 builds shows the plugin and my 9/22 shows binary text in an iframe. Current trunk shows nothing.

Actually, this is bug 347736... it helps to enter the correct year when doing a bonsai query.
