When the Software Update dialog is open, there's about 50% CPU usage even if it's doing nothing, i.e. waiting for me to click [Finish] (no update), or [Later] or [Download & apply update] (when there is an update).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click Help->Check for update
2. Observe Firefox's CPU usage
3.
Actual Results:  
~50% CPU usage

Expected Results:  
~0% CPU usage
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
