Say I have a repeating meeting every Monday, starting in April. I create the meeting. In the middle of June, the meeting ends. I double-click on the meeting to delete any subsequent instances of it. It seems that all I can do is: 1) delete the meeting only on that date, or 2) delete all instances of the meeting.
I want to leave the earlier meetings alone and delete all instances of the meeting after the June date. What am I missing? Why isn't this one of the options offered in the alert when I go to delete the meeting?

Guessing wildly, do you mean you have the Lightning calendar extension installed in Thunderbird?

I guess you are talking about bug 363932- am I right?
Is it a duplicate of the bug?

Workaround:
Instead of deleting all future events you can also edit the repeating rule and change the end date to the June date.
