Alarms dont get on top of others windows and dont even blink on the taskbar, it dont call for your attention. If you dont have sound on your computer, is very hard to see one.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a test alarm.
2. Open another program.
3. Wait for the alarm.

This has been fixed for upcoming 0.5 release.
