Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.11) Gecko/20070312 Firefox/1.5.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.11) Gecko/20070312 Firefox/1.5.0.11 I use Gmail - an email service that is a division of Google. When I open an attachment within an email, a window opens and asks, "What should Firefox do with this file?" Even after selecting the option, "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" Firefox will not automatically do it. I still have to intervene. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a web-based gmail email account 2. select an email with an attachment 3 [review]. click on download 4. Window pops up as discussed before Actual Results: Firefox opens a window and keeps asking what to do with the file/attachment even after selecting "do this automatically...from now on" Expected Results: Don't show the new window, just follow previous instructions
Should be fixed on Firefox 2 available from http://mozilla.com
