If I open urls in SeaMonkey mail they are opened with the SeaMonkey browser. But this browser is not the default system browser. It is Opera.
SeaMonkey should use the system default browser for this!
It should respect the user decicion to use another browser!

Confirming. Seamonkey 1.1.9, Fedora linux 8. Maybe should be an option or config entry to control this behavior.

Major -> Enhancement, as I think the current behavior is the only one to expect for now.
