Shouldn't Thunderbird show an invitation icon like Outlook do?
Right now there are two icons that can be seen on the iMIP bar, depending on the state of the invitation, that could be shown on the messages list to quickly locate invitation messages.

Well, I mean that Thunderbird *with Lightning* should show the invitation icon. :-)

Yes, something like this is planned. Right now it is hard to find out if a message has an invitation before clicking on it. The only way to tell is to download messages that have a multipart/mixed content type and check if it contains an attachment/invitation.

Any chance that someone would work on this?
I do sorely miss this feature - using TB+Lightning for almost every daily need, but I sometimes miss event invitations among a heavy email traffic because of the lack of a readily apparent visual clue.
