User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Every few days Firefox 2.0.0.3 is automatically installed when I go on line. When the installation is complete I try to launch Firefox and it just hangs up. Doing Ctrl Alt Delete to bring up Task Manager shows Rundll32 [Not responding]. To recover I have to reinstall 2.0.0.1 and carry on OK for a few more days. I am on Windows98 using Zone Alarm as my Firewall. Can you help. Dennis Thorley Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. System decides I need to update to 2.0.0.3 which I now delay until next reload. 2. Next reload I cannot prevent 2.0.0.3 attempting to reload which always results in the above. 3. I reload and then re-install 2.0.0.1 until a few days later the cycle repeats. Actual Results: Cannot launch Firefox browser and rundll32 [Not responding]
Without any changes at my end 2.0.0.3 loaded without any problems today (12/5/07). Therefore I am happy to have the bug closed.
