Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. edit preferences and uncheck the option 'advanced', 'general', 'use smooth scrolling' 2. go to a site requiring a plugin you don't have or trying to open a popup. 3. click the message bar away Actual Results: when the message bar is displayed and clicked away it appears and disappears gradually while the rest of the main window is scrolled smoothly. Expected Results: when the message bar is displayed and clicked away it should disappear at once and the rest of the main window should be scrolled at once.
