User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070510 Minefield/3.0a5pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/20070510 Minefield/3.0a5pre When a user goes to Amazon.com, there is a section on the menu at the top that says, "Your Lists" on it. Moving the mouse over the down arrow graphic next to this causes a css-based popup window to be drawn on the screen. In Firefox 2.0 and previous versions, this popup is drawn directly under "Your Lists" but in Firefox 3.0, it is drawn on the right edge of the browser window. It's horizontal position is completely off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Amazon.com 2. Move the mouse to the down arrow graphic to the immediate right of "Your Lists" on the main home page. 3. Watch the css-based box pop up with "Wish List" and "Gift Ideas List" in it. Actual Results: The box is drawn on the right edge of the browser window. Expected Results: The box is drawn directly underneath "Your Lists". I have a zip file of a much more narrowed down repro case but it contains a lot of script from Amazon.com.
Unzip the files in a directory and load the html file. Then you can move the mouse over the arrow at the top of the window.
This is a 3.0 bug. It also occurs in Windows XP, Service Pack 2.
