User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: After submitting a test and selecting the option to "Continue testing this Test Run under the same configuration", litmus returns to the test run screen but defaults to the first set of radio buttons in the listing of subgroup tests. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure a test run. 2. Select which set of tests you want to run and click submit 3. Complete your tests then click "submit this result" or "submit all results" 4. Select "Continue testing this Test Run under the same configuration" Actual Results: User is returned to the list of test runs with the 1st radio button in subgroup list selected. Expected Results: User is returned to the list of test runs with their last selection of subgroup tests selected. This would provide a more intuitive interface for the user when they conduct and submit each test in a subgroup one at a time.
The current interface returns the user to the same test run with the first subgroup selected that does *not* have full coverage. This is our attempt to encourage testers to provide as much coverage as possible. The testgroups themselves are generally setup with a logical progression of subgroups from top to bottom, where "logical progression" has been determined over the last few years of manual testing. Given the above, I would be fine with having the same subgroup selected when you return to that page, but only if the subgroup in question is not already fully covered.
