it would be a nice to have if the downloaded files would keep the timestamp of the files on the downloadserver resp. if the download manager gets the timestamp of the destination server.
nowadays this is a common option in popular 3rd-party download-managers.

i wish this could be done under CON-004a of the PRD (http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox3/Product_Requirements_Document#P2_2)

I hope you're not proposing using the timestamp on the server as the local timestamp for the file.  I want Explorer/Finder to show porn in the order I downloaded it, not in the order the files were created on the various servers.
well, i'd like to have the files (no matter of what content) i download 'as orignal' as they are being offered. and using the servers timestamp is the way to go then =)
concerning your porn ... i'm sure you'll find another solution :p
