Details

Seen while testing Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a5pre) Gecko/2007060104 Minefield/3.0a5pre.

1. With about 13 tabs open, force quit.
2. Session restore dialog fires. I want to to start a new session, but by default the continue session button is highlighted.
3. Click "Start a New Session."

When Minefield opens, despite the fact that I selected start a new session, my existing session is brought up.
oddly enough, this seems to work on my PPC Mac running 10.3.9, using the same build.
The official candidate build just came out, Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a5) Gecko/2007060412 GranParadiso/3.0a5, and it does not seem to exhibit the same symptom as the nightly.
This smells like WORKSFORME, resp. like a profile issue. Can you still reproduce this on the original machine? With a clean or only an existing profile? Are there any possibly related errors in the Error Console after the bug happened?
I have separate profiles for all the builds I test, and I started out with a clean profile when testing the candidate for Alpha 5. I will try to reproduce again. I have seen a number of inconsistencies when testing this candidate on both PPC and Intel Mac.
Closing as WORKSFORME as this issue doesn't seem to have appeared again.

Marcia: Please reopen this bug, should you encounter the same problem again.
