User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.4) Gecko/20070515 Firefox/2.0.0.4 No matter what you do, the "Recently Closed Tabs" menu is "locked up", I don't know why this is. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Just look at History>Recently Closed Tabs Actual Results: "Locked up" Expected Results: Allow me to open a recently closed tab. I have no idea if it's just me or not, nor do I know how to tell.

In this case the problem is most likely caused by an extension. Once you have figured out what extension has caused this problem you could notify the author of the add-on so that he can fix it. Not a bug in Firefox = INVALID.

-safe-mode starts Firefox with temporarily disabled extensions and with temporarily default toolbar settings.

Well it works there, but I have no idea what's causing it >_> Also, when it isn't locked up, it forgets the recently closed tab.

Well, if it's not the add-ons you could try deleting the localstore.rdf file. Warning: you'll lose your toolbar settings, but if it doesn't help you can find the file in the recycler. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf

(In reply to comment #4) > But every single add-on that would do that are uninstalled So you don't use any add-ons at all? Otherwise: how could you tell which add-ons might or might not be responsible? For further investigation, you might want to navigate to about:config and verify that the pref browser.sessionstore.enabled is set to true. If it is, make sure that javascript.options.showInConsole is also set to true and then open the Error Console and check for chrome errors. (In reply to comment #6) > when it isn't locked up, it forgets the recently closed tab. What do you mean by "forgetting"? Note that the list of recently closed tabs is discarded with the window they belong to. You'll have to set Firefox to "Show [your] windows and tabs from last time" at startup if you want that list to be preserved after shutdown.

I can't think of any add-on I currently have that would do that, but once I have access to Firefox again, I will try that.
