Reloading the testcase from bug 376223 triggers ###!!! ASSERTION: no common ancestor at all???: 'parent', file /Users/jruderman/trunk/mozilla/layout/base/nsLayoutUtils.cpp, line 356 I tried reducing the testcase further and wasn't able to.

Jesse, I can't reproduct this with today's trunk on mac os x. WFM?
